What is a good age to stop playing with dolls

It just depends on the person.

Never and yes I know I am weird it runs in the family that is a fact.

Age 11! Unless you are crazy about them. Then maybe 13.

No such thing. I am 58 and I ''play'' with dolls, in the sense of making clothes for them and dressing them. I even talk to them while I am outfitting them: ''Here, honey, move your arm this way.'' They do not answer, but it is part of the fun of dressing them. I named my favorite Patience because (1) I had to have a lot of patience until I raised the money to buy her, and (2) she is so patient herself; never complains, even when I stick her with a pin!

I am a male age 55. I liked all the . As a boy I never played with ''dolls'' but I liked stuffed animals. I still have a collection but I do not ''play'' with them. I personally feel that just because you ''grow up'' you should not discard everthing that gave you pleasure as a child. Just think about all the baseball cards that are now valuable that were thrown out because ''baseball cards are just for little boys''.

at 13 i stopped playing with dolls but i still love cartoons like sakura cardcaptors,
tsubasa chronicles,sailormoon,
sonicx,teen titans,hi hi puffy ami yumi,code lyoko,
w.i.t.c.h.,rugrates,and the buzz on maggie!Im around 14 and i have toys of chracters from those shows.i also have dolls but dont play with them.

If you enjoy doing something thats not going to kill you or cause problems for you or some one else continue as long as it makes you content.

Well it depends on your definition of ''play''. If you're talking about having tea parties with them and playing mummy then I'd say 10 or 12 at the max but I am 27 and I still buy dolls if I like the look of them just to admire but most of the time I do not bother removing them from the box.

Playing with dolls at that age may signify she needs more social interaction with friends. I do think it is important not to let her see that u r alarmed or that u think she is ''STRANGE''. Accept her totally, keep loving her - life is difficult & confusing at that age. She might be acting out various social scenarios, & social problems with her dolls.

I would let her continue playing with them (in private) until she stops naturally. But, do have a good system for keeping them out of sight while her friends r over. I bet she will get over it faster if u allow her to play with them once in awhile. At the same time, try to get her engaged in some new activites - encourage her to join a club or sports activity at school or at church, perhaps.

hmmmm.goood question probobly the age would be about 10 cuz alot of ppl ask if u still play w/ dolls and if u say yes they will evantually laugh at you and the nxt morning you will feel soo embarresed

I think it is really up to you. I am 12 and I stopped playing with dolls when I was about 10, but if you really want to play with them, I think you should. Who cares what your friends think?!?

I think you should stop whenever you feel like stopping. Just do not tell people if you're emarssed.

I think 12 is a good age to stop playing with dolls. You're about to become a teenager, and you do not want your friends to know you play with dolls. They will make fun of you!
